Economic Development District Board
The regional Economic Development District (EDD) is the federally designated economic development district for the central Puget Sound Region covering King, Kitsap, Pierce, and Snohomish counties. The EDD is responsible for regional economic development planning and collaborates with various private and public sector agencies to accomplish this goal. The EDD brings together the private and public sectors in a partnership necessary to provide a coordinated strategy and an ongoing economic development program for the region.
National Economic Experts Advising Team
Top-notch economic development advisors – The Economic Competitiveness Group, Inc. (ECG) and Global Insight, Inc. – are on board to assist with the regional economic strategy.
The team brings national and international experience and demonstrated results. They understand what it takes for regions to successfully compete and how to bring all the pieces together into unified agenda. They have worked all over the globe, including for recent clients Joint Venture: Silicon Valley Network and the World Bank.
